The 32-year-old "Wonder Woman" star revealed she has lost out on many roles in the past as she was not a famous name in the film industry, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"I had so many almosts for big, great things, but I was never a big enough name... It was always me and the big name. I was runner-up for 'Mad Max' with Charlize," Gadot said in Awards Chatter podcast.
When asked if she still wondered about missing opportunity of featuring in the multiple Oscar-winning film, the actor dismissed the idea saying there were no hard feelings.
The "Wonder Woman" director previously worked with Theron in the 2003 film "Monster".
