An official spokesman in a release here said that according to reports, these gangs were operational in some of the districts of the state and were luring people to fill the forms under this scheme for getting Rs two lakh.
He said these forms claimed the scheme was initiated in 26 states and all girls between eight and 32 years would get Rs two lakh under the scheme.
It is appealed to the general people not to be lured by this, the statement said asking people to share information about the gang with the government.
