German national arrested for alleged possession of drugs

A German national was arrested for alleged possession of drugs worth several lakh rupees from Sonauli area on Indo-Nepal border here by the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), a senior official said.
Menfriend Bront Lippus (52) from Germany, who was on his way to Goa from Nepal, was arrested last evening during a routine checking with four kg charas worth Rs 40 lakh in the international market, SSB's Deputy Commandant Manish Jaiswal said.
He said Menfriend has been booked under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
