A 14-year-old girl, who was on her morning walk on the terrace of a four-storied residential apartment complex in Alwal area here "accidentally" fell and died today, police said.
The incident occurred around 6 AM when the girl, a ninth standard student, went atop the building for a walk but accidentally fell down, they said.
According to her parents, their daughter used to go to the terrace of the building regularly for morning walk, Alwal Police Station Inspector V Srikanth Goud said.
The girl was shifted to a nearby hospital after she fell on the ground but she died undergoing treatment, he said.
The girl's parents have filed a complaint but have not suspected any foul play.
A case under section 174 CrPC was registered, police said.
