The exploration by Geological Survey of India (GSI) has revealed that the deposits of gold are 114.78 MT in Bhukia- Dagocha area.
The work of exploration of gold and copper in other areas like Kamalpura, Neem Ka Thana and Mundiawas Kheda area is also going on, Director General of the GSI department N Kutumba Rao told reporters here.
He also said that department is now looking for exploration beyond the depth of 300 meters but has no technology, therefore the department is procuring advanced drill machines so as to drill beyond 300 meters for mineral exploration.
