Gram Pradhan shot at for opposing eve-teasing bid

A gram pradhan was allegedly shot at by miscreants when he objected to their eve-teasing his sister at Dhanyan village in Shamli district, police said today.
Chand Vir Singh was shot at yesterday, they said, adding that a case has been registered against one accused Deepak.
The other accused are absconding, they said.
