Gujarat: 17 state service officers elevated to IAS

As many as 17 Gujarat Administrative Service officers in the state have been elevated to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) by the Centre.
The announcement was made by the Ministry of Personnel in New Delhi today through a notification.
The ministry also promoted three non-GAS officers to IAS in the state.
In another development, 14 senior Indian Forest Service officers were transferred by the state government today.
