Gur remains steady on scattered demand

Steady conditions prevailed at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital today with prices closing unchanged after moving narrowly on scattered support.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also showed a steady trend.
Marketmen said scattered buying helped gur prices to remain steady.
Following are today's rates per quintal:
Gur chakku 3,400-3,500, pedi 3,500-3,600, dhayya N.A. And shakkar 3,700-3,800.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 3,000-3,025, chakku 2,950-3,100, khurpa N.A. And Ladoo N.A.
Muradnagar: Pedi 3,150-3,200 and dhayya N.A.
