The proposed boosting station with a capacity of 15 lakh liters of water is a part of the rainy-well project.
Benefiting more than 50,000 residents of the area, the booster station, to be made operational in a period of eight months, would be supplying water to sector 48, SGM Nagar, Village Badkhal and village Ankhir.
The Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, while speaking on the occasion, said that in the chain of development of water resources, 50 more such boosting stations would be installed in Faridabad.
Gurjar said the state government has asked HUDCO for a loan of Rs 100 crore to Faridabad Municipal Corporation on its guarantee that would be a great help to the corporation for speeding up the development work in the district.
Seema Trikha, MLA from Badkhal and Ashok Arora, mayor of the city, were also present on the occasion.
