"We have registered a case against Atamswami, 40, who is warden of the Swaminarayan Gurukul in Kheda town, for performing unnatural sex on a 15-year-old boy," Kheda town police station sub-inspector A R Jhala said.
According to the complaint of the victim's father, the accused used to call the victim to his room and force the minor boy to wear a female costume, Jhala said.
The warden performed unnatural sex on the boy twice and also threatened him of dire consequences if he revealed the incident to others, Jhala said.
The police has registered a complaint against the warden under Section 377 (unnatural sex) and Section 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code as well as under various sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, Jhala said.
The accused is on the run, he said.
