Metro officials said trains did not stop at the station from 7.20 PM to 8.34 PM in view of the threat and people inside the station were evacuated.
According to the police, the police control room received a call around 7.15 am by an unidentified person, who reported about a potential bomb outside the metro station premises.
A police team, along with bomb disposal squad, was rushed to the spot but no explosives or any such unattended object was found, said DCP (Central) Parmaditya.
Services were resumed at the station, which is on the blue line, after police gave its clearance.
