The 25-year-old accused allegedly raped the minor when she was going to an agriculture field to give food to her father on March 17, Doraha Police Station In-charge, V D Veera said.
The accused was apprehended from his residence, police said.
Soon after committing the crime, he escaped from the village but was caught when he reached home.
A case was registered in this regard under relevant sections of the IPC and further investigations are on.
