He said the inauguration of the village secretariat in Haibatpur is the first step in this direction.
Khattar said all facilities would be made available for the people at village secretariat so that they don't have to visit district headquarters to settle their issues and take benefits of government schemes.
"The village secretariat has been built on 8,500 square feet area at the cost of Rs 48 lakh. It has 17 rooms with all modern amenities," Khattar said.
A 'Common Service Centre' has been set up in the secretariat where facilities of issuance of all kind of government certificates like domicile, caste certificate etc will be available.
Later, addressing a public meeting in Uchana town here, Khattar said that BJP government of Haryana would eradicate corruption at all levels in the state.
