Disclosing this here, an official spokesman said that in the first phase of the scheme, 400 routes have been identified after conducting comprehensive study of various routes.
Earlier, passengers had to wait in long queues for getting tickets for travelling on these routes.
He said that earlier passengers had to reach the bus stand much before the scheduled timing of the buses which wasted a lot time of the passengers.
He said that after identification of 400 routes, the Department is working on planning for other areas also, he said.
The officers of the Department are working for preparing software of online ticket booking and giving final touches to other necessary resources so as to provide this service to the passengers at the earliest, he said.
