Justice R Mala of the Madurai Bench of the court, closing the petition filed by one S Palanivelu, who is the third accused in the case, directed the trial court to hear the case on a day-to-day basis and complete it within three months.
The judge directed the public prosecutor to produce witnesses on the day specified by the court concerned. The judge also closed the connected miscellaneous petition.
Even though the present petition was filed to quash the charge sheet in respect of the petitioner, counsel for the petitioner submitted that he would be satisfied, in case a direction was issued to dispose the case at the earliest.
