State secretary of the party, Omkar Shaad, who presented the agenda at the party plenum said CPI(M) has identified 19 seats from which it will contest the polls. It will support the candidates of CPI and other like-minded parties in other seats.
Inaugurating the plenum, the party's central secretariat member Vijayraghwan accused the Modi government of a pursuing a policy for the benefit of capitalists and corporates.
"The Modi government is implementing the liberalisation policies started by UPA government more vigorously and trying to divide people on communal lines," he alleged, adding BJP has "failed" to fulfil its poll promises.
