Danes, 36, will guest star in the fourth episode as a love interest to Dev (Ansari), who has trouble deciding what he wants to eat, much less the pathway for the rest of his life, reported Entertainment Weekly.
"I thought it would be an interesting choice to have her do comedy," Ansari said.
The comedy will follow the personal and professional life of Dev which takes him through subjects as diverse as the plight of the elderly, the immigrant experience, and dating, which is where Danes appears to come in.
"Master of None" is scheduled to air on November 6.
