Hong Kong to open Economic and Trade Office in India

Hong Kong, a Special Administrative Region of China, would open an Economic and Trade Office (ETO) in India to strengthen trade ties and investment linkages.
The ETO would go a long way in strengthening trade, economic and investment linkages between India and Hong Kong, a press release from the Indian Consulate in Hong Kong said.
"We look forward to working closely with Hong Kong government in this regard," the press release said.
Hong Kong is a business hub for Indian business and much of the Chinese investments are routed though the former British colony.
