Hotel Leelaventure Q3 net profit at Rs 40.65 cr

Hotel Leelaventure today reported a net profit of Rs 40.65 crore for the third quarter ended December 2017.
The company had posted a net loss of Rs 10.39 crore for October-December period a year ago, Hotel Leelaventure said in a BSE filing.
Its total income was up 31.36 per cent to Rs 229.86 crore during the period under review as against Rs 174.98 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal.
The company's total expenses stood at Rs 189.21 crore in the third quarter of 2017-18 as against Rs 185.37 crore in the year-ago period, up 2.07 per cent.

Meanwhile, in a separate filing, Hotel Leelaventure informed that its board has appointed Shereveer Shereyar Vakil as an independent director of the company with immediate effect.
Shares of Hotel Leelaventure today closed 19.90 per cent higher at Rs 23.80 per scrip on BSE.
