HUDCO joins hands with SPA for housing research

The Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) has signed an MoU with the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) here to undertake joint research in the field of housing.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation said that the MoU envisaged joint research activities, training and capacity building programmes, etc. And would also enable students to receive training through internships.
The MoU was signed between HUDCO Chairman and Managing Director, VP Baligar, and Director, SPA, Chetan Vaidya.
The Human Settlement Management Institute (HSMI), which is the research and training wing of HUDCO, will be the nodal department for the operationalisation of the MoU.
It will closely work with SPA to bring about coordination between HUDCO and SPA.
