The 'Go Gentle' singer had hoped to secure a duet with the 'Les Miserables' actor for his album 'Swings Both Ways'.
However, Jackman was busy shooting the latest 'Wolverine' film and was unable to appear, reported Digital Spy.
"I wanted to sing with Hugh Jackman, but unfortunately he was between Wolverine and something else and couldn't do it. But he was the only one who couldn't do it," Williams said.
'Swings Both Ways' became the 1,000th number one album in the UK last month.
"It's great but it's all so great and the press made a big deal of it, and my album got extra promotion because of it.It's just another part of being the luckiest man on the planet with my album coming out at that particular time. I'm blessed that it was number one, but triple quadruple blessed that it was the 1,000th number one.
