The 36-year-old actress, who plays an overweight character struggling with weight loss and size discrimination on NBC drama, keeps an ideal body goal in mind as she continues to try different methods of exercises, reported People magazine.
"I do want to lose weight... But not because anyone is telling me to do it," Metz tells Marie Claire.
Talking about her target weight, Metz says she wants "to be proportioned."
"I carry a lot of my weight in my stomach. I just want to have... Not even a number, but to have my body in a different shape.
