The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) and Selection Test for Airmen Recruitment (STAR) was to be conducted at 536 centres in 99 cities but it could be held at around 450 centres only, an IAF official said.
He said it was the first ever online AFCAT and STAR test, adding that IAF had brought in Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), a government of India, undertaking, to conduct the test.
"The maiden online AFCAT for selecting officers was planned to be conducted on February 25, 2018, simultaneously at 536 Centres in 99 cities," the IAF said.
"Due to certain technical problems the exam at a few centres has been postponed," the IAF said in a statement.
The exam for the candidates of these centres would be conducted at a later date which would be notified shortly, it said.
