IAF's exhibition vehicle in Kolkata from Thursday

The Induction Publicity Exhibition Vehicle (IPEV) launched by the Indian Air Force last October to help young aspirants to make an informed choice to join IAF, will visit various colleges in Kolkata and adjoining cities from Thursday.
Set to the theme 'Guardians of the Sky - IPEV II', the modified vehicle showcases various facets of the IAF on one platform, a release said.
A flying simulator incorporated in the vehicle has been a great attraction with students across the country.
The vehicle houses an information zone to give all career-related information to students.
It also has an experience zone to have visual thrill of various activities like Sarang aerobatics, Air Warriors Drill Team besides simulator Su-30 MKI flying experience.

The IPEV was launched by Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha in New Delhi on October 5 last year. The exhibition vehicle has traversed various cities and townships attracting youth everywhere.
Currently in the Eastern Air Command region, the IPEV has covered Assam and Meghalaya. En route to Kolkata, the IPEV also visited Hasimara, Siliguri (North Bengal) and Purnea (Bihar).
