IAS officer Siddharth gets extension as DG, DGS&D

Senior IAS officer Siddharth was today given extension of about two months, till November, as Director General, Directorate General of Supplies and Disposal (DGS&D).
He is a 1983 batch IAS officer of West Bengal cadre.
The Appointments Committee of Cabinet has approved the proposal for extension of central deputation tenure of Siddharth for a period beyond September 21, 2015 and upto November 30, 2015, or till his superannuation, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training said.
The ACC has also approved the continuation of entrustment of additional charge of the post of Chairman, Rubber Board to A Jayathilak, a 1991 batch IAS officer of Kerala cadre, Chairman Spices Board for a period of three months from August 28, 2015 to November 27, 2015 or till the appointment of regular chairman, it said.
