From June 1 every panchayat secretariat would start functioning, he said, adding villagers should not make rounds of offices for works done for their work. And for this, panchayat 'sevaks' were selected, he said.
Panchayat secretariats would oversee 14 departments, including caste, residence, income certificates and banking.
Das was addressing the programme "Sarkar App ki Dwar Abhiyan-2017 (government at your doors).
Under the programme, the chief minister laid on-line foundation stone for different schemes worth Rs 153.45 lakh for different districts under North Chhotanagpur Division, according to an official release.
Das said that investments worth thousands of crores of rupees are coming to Jharkhand through "Momentum Jharkhand" and to give employment to the youth the government would impart skill training to boys and girls so that they could get jobs in the factories being set up in the state.
Women would also be trained in knitting and poultry and they would be connected in employment and self-employment.
He said that Hazaribagh is in top ten in cleanliness and expressed hope that in the next survey it would get into top position.
Das said the panchayat sevaks have worked hard in making survey of homeless, orphan, widows, divyang and unemployed in villages and this survey has revealed the true picture of village. The government would use the survey in all the development schemes, he added.
Rural Development Minister Nilkanth Singh Munda said that programmes at divisional level helped understand problems and called upon the panchayat volunteers to work hard so that villages could develop.
Education Minister Neera Yadav called upon the panchayat volunteers for team work so that Jharkhand would become developed and prosperity. She also called upon them to create awareness of education and skill development.
