"We have been following the case of the unfortunate death of an Indian prisoner in Pakistan and this has been going on for quite some time.
"For more than two months now. We have repeatedly requested the Pakistanis authorities for a post mortem report.... The report has not been provided to us as yet," said Syed Akbaruddin, official spokesperson in the Ministry of External Affairs.
He said any future course of action will be decided on the basis of that report.
India has already conveyed its concern to Pakistani authorities over the unnecessary delay in providing details of post-mortem and other details, official sources said.
Singh had died in mysterious conditions in a Pakistani jail on January 15. However, the autopsy was conducted on March 13 in Lahore.
The preliminary report states that traces of four injuries were found on the body, including a fracture of the right knee, an abrasion of 1.5 cm to 2 cm on the left knee joint, an abrasion over the upper lip and scars on the thigh.
He was serving a five-year prison term at Kot Lakhpat Jail for his alleged involvement in espionage.
