Thetwo sides discussed issues of mutual interest, issues related to the Indian diaspora, follow up of decisions taken during the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the UK in November, in yesterday's meeting, according to a release by the Indian High Commission here.
They also discussed Patel's recent visit to India to participate at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, upcoming visits from both sides and other important issues.
Patel, who is also Prime Minister David Cameron's Indian Diaspora Champion, conveyed to the High Commissioner the UK Cabinet's appreciation to the British Indian community and their role in building bridges of friendship and goodwill between India and the UK.
