India-Spain pact for aviation cooperation gets Cabinet nod

An agreement for cooperation between India and Spain in the civil aviation sector received Cabinet clearance today.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the civil aviation sector is also expected to help boost trade, investment and tourism, among others.
During its meeting, the Cabinet has cleared signing of the MoU on cooperation in the sphere of civil aviation between India and Spain.
It "signifies an important landmark in the civil aviation relations between India and Spain and has the potential to spur greater trade, investment, tourism and cultural exchanges between the two countries", an official release said.
