Inox Leisure Q3 net profit declines 78% to Rs 4 crore

Multiplex chain operator Inox Leisure today reported a decline of 78 per cent in consolidated net profit to Rs 3.75 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2016.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 17.05 crore in the October-December period a year ago, Inox Leisure said in a BSE filing.
Its total income from operations was almost flat at Rs 297.97 crore in the quarter under review as against Rs 297.91 crore in the same period last fiscal.
However, total expenses during the quarter was up 8.87 per cent to Rs 287.69 crore as compared to Rs 264.23 crore in the same period last fiscal, the company added.

Shares of Inox Leisure today settled at Rs 238.85 per scrip on BSE, down 0.89 per cent from the previous close.
