About 600 representatives from various states were likely to attend the meet which would discuss issues related to lack of job security, government's policy to encourage multi-national companies to attract foreign direct investment, creation of new jobs among others, INTUC said in a release here today.
The Working Committee meet, coming after the two-day nation-wide strike by various trade unions last month, would review the struggle of major trade unions during the last three years and also take steps to strengthen its ties with Congress, it said.
INTUC President G Sanjeeva Reddy, Tamil Nadu Congress Committee President B S Gnanadesikan were expected to participate in the meeting, the release added.
