"Indian Oil's Madhya Pradesh State Office plans to fully automate operations of its fuel pumps and locations. 25 per cent of its outlets are fully automated and it aims to automate all fuel pumps in Indore and Raipur by 2015," IOC's Madhya Pradesh General Manager Sanjiv Jain told reporters here today.
The company will be setting up a new depot at Phandakalan near Phanda railway station in the the next three years, he said.
The Lakholi terminal would be commissioned in June 2015, while the Korba terminal would begin operations in November 2015, he said.
IOC's Madhya Pradesh office caters to fuel requirements in the states of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh with a total turnover of Rs 21,956 crore per annum (2013-14).
The company has a 46.71 per cent market share in the sale of petroleum products, Jain said.
IOC's state office has strong marketing infrastructure with ten depots and terminals, four LPG bottling plants, 1,611 retail outlets (fuel pumps), 601 LPG distributors and 228 kerosene dealers.
