IRB, one of the largest Road BOT developers in India had recorded a net profit of Rs 138.21 crore for the 2014-15 quarter, the company said in a filing to the BSE.
Its income from operations stood at Rs 1,536.79 crore for the quarter under review as against Rs 991.44 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
The total expenses rose to Rs 1,019.51 crore in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal as against Rs 592.82 crore in the year-ago quarter.
The company had registered a net profit of Rs 542.90 crore in 2014-15.
"Income from operations has increased by 33 per cent to Rs 5,130 crore for the year ended FY16 from Rs 3,849 crore for the year ended FY15," the company said in a statement.
The company said its construction order book now stands at approximately Rs 8,000 crore which gives construction revenue visibility to IRB for the coming two and half years.
It is one of the largest private developers in India with 20 Road BOT (build, operate, transfer) projects out of which 13 Projects are under operation.
The shares of the company closed 1.47 per cent up at Rs 218.50 apiece on BSE.
