Teachers, accompanying the children, requested the Minister of State for Home to take initiative for setting up coaching centres for civil service aspirants in J&K.
The students of classes VIII to X are mainly from remote areas of Kupwara district. The trip to Bengaluru and Mysore was organised by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
Rijiju appreciated the efforts of CRPF in organising such trips for children in the state.
The minister assured the group that he would consider its request for setting up coaching centres.
The children should share their experience with their friends and families when they go back home, he said, adding his message to children was to study well and make India proud.
