Addressing a press conference at Congress Bhawan here, Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) President Sukhdeo Bhagat alleged the transfers were done whimsically and not on merit or genuine cause, which led to disorder in the law and order situation in the state.
He said a union minister in the Narendra Modi cabinet had admitted the six-month performance of the present government was a failure on all fronts, he said.
He further said the approach of the Union and Jharkhand governments was to benefit industrialists and corporate houses rather than addressing the problems of the common man.
