Jats in Haryana threaten to launch agitation

Jats in Haryana today threatened to launch an agitation if their demand for reservation in the government jobs was not met.
Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti today organised Jat Aaraskshan Adhikar rally here today in support of its demand of reservation for Jats in jobs.
Spokesperson of the Sangharsh Samiti Sube, Singh Samain said, "If reservation was not given to Jats, samiti will start an agitation to press for its demands."
He said the Samiti will observe a complete bandh on February 15 in Haryana and would ask traders and other communities to take part in the bandh.
Sube Singh Samain said Jat community deserves reservation, but due to some "conspiracy", the benefits of reservation were denied to them.
He said that in their struggle for reservation, the Samiti will seek help and cooperation of other communities.
Nafe Singh Nain President 'Sarv Jat Khap' who is also the president of 'Jat Aaraskshan Sangharsh Samiti' Haryana presided over the rally and said Samiti's aim is to unite all Jat organisations to fight for their rights.
He further said, "Our main aim at present is to seek reservation regarding which we had earlier met Prime Minister Narendra Modi."
Prominent Jat leader Dharam pal Chhot said the protests would continue till their demand for reservation is met.
Representatives of different khaps of Haryana were also present at the rally.
