Helion Ventures sees exit of three partners

Venture fund Helion Advisors today said three of its partners, Rahul Chowdhri, Ritesh Banglani and Alok Goyal, have quit the firm.
Helion Venture Partners, which is an investor in companies like Big Basket, Shopclues, TaxiForSure, MakeMyTrip and redBus said the departing executives will separate from the firm over the next few weeks.
"Rahul Chowdhri, Ritesh Banglani and Alok Goyal will leave the firm to pursue opportunities outside of Helion. They held responsibilities in areas of deal sourcing, diligence and portfolio support," Helion said in a statement.
The next destination of the executives could not ascertained. The departing executives will cease to provide any ongoing assistance to the portfolio companies, it added.
Helion is a multi-stage India-focused venture fund with over USD 600 million (about Rs 3,968 crore) under management and a portfolio of over 60 firms. It has offices in Bengaluru, Gurgaon and Silicon Valley.
"We are thankful for the contribution made by the three executives during their time at Helion. We wish them the best in the next phase of their careers," Helion co-founder Sanjeev Aggarwal said.
Helion said its founders, Aggarwal, Ashish Gupta and Rahul Chandra will continue to spearhead the company's investments across the technology landscape as well as engage and mentor portfolio companies.
Besides, Helion's portfolio service team comprises operating partners R Natarajan (Managing Director), Dhruv Prakash and Srikanth Sunderarajan, who support the investee companies in the areas of finance, HR and technology.
