JD(U) MLA acquitted in bank loot and murder cases

A local court here today acquitted JD(U) MLA Neeraj Kumar Singh 'Bablu' of all charges in murder and bank loot cases lodged against him 13 years ago.
The district and sessions Judge Bateshwar Pandey passed the order acquitting Singh of the charges in cases of murder and bank loot against him for want of evidence.
The JD(U) MLA from Chhatapur Assembly seat was present in the court when the Judge pronounced the order absolving him of the charges in the cases against him.
Declared a proclaimed offender in the cases, Singh had surrendered before the court last month and was remanded to judicial custody in Katihar divisional jail.
