Verma was booked yesterday along with five others in connection with the case.
The memorandum, submitted to Amethi DM, to be sent to the governor, demanded that the minister be sacked from cabinet and be booked along with his accomplices for their alleged involvement in killing the journalist, followed inquiry by CBI.
It also included that proper security be given to reporters.
