A team of ACB sleuths led by a Deputy Superintendent of Police conducted the raid and arrested Vijay Majhi from his office chamber, Inspector (ACB), Salkaldeo Ram said.
A resident of Jhinkpani, Ramesh Balmuchu, had registered a complaint with the ACB stating that Majhi had been demanding bribe to provide electricity supply, he said adding the ACB officials also conducted a raid in Majhi's house and recovered Rs 2.87 lakh after the arrest.
