Jubilant Life appoints Priyavrat, Arjun Shanker as directors

Drug firm Jubilant Life Sciences today announced appointments of Priyavrat Bhartia and Arjun Shanker Bhartia, members of the next generation of the promoter family, as additional directors of the company.
Priyavrat Bhartia is the son of Chairman Shyam S Bhartia while Arjun Shanker Bhartia is the son of co-Chairman and Managing Director Hari S Bhartia.
Besides, the company's board has also appointed Vivek Mehra and Sushil Kumar Roongta as additional directors, Jubilant Life Sciences said in a filing to BSE.
While Priyavrat Bhartia and Arjun Shanker Bhartia have been appointed as non-executive non-independent directors, Mehra and Roongta have been appointed as independent directors, it added.

Jubilant Life Sciences stock closed at Rs 723, up 6.60 per cent, on BSE.
