Jude Sekhar new Inspector General of Forests

Jude Sekhar, an Odisha cadre IFS officer, has been appointed as Inspector General of Forests, Environment Ministry officials said here today.
The post was lying vacant ever since P J Dilip Kumar retired as IG (Forests) in November last year. ADG (Forest) A K Srivastava was holding the additional charge.
Officials said Sekhar, a 1976-batch IFS officer, is likely to take charge next week. He will retire in December.
