Kaliaganj BDO's body found at his official residence
North Dinajpur District Magistrate Smita Pandey who rushed to the spot said the body of Dawa Sherpa (46) was found after breaking the door of his residence at Kaliaganj.
Sherpa, who hails from Darjeeling district, stayed alone in the bungalow.
He was scheduled to attend a meeting this morning but when he did not turn up, the additional BDO went to his residence and on looking through the open window saw him lying on the floor.
There were no visible wounds on his body, police said.
