Kejriwal oath-taking: Young, old women throng Ramlila Maidan

Young and old women from across the national capital today trooped to the Ramlila Maidan in support of Arvind Kejriwal, and many said, the chief minister should be given five years, before making any judgement.
Samriddhi, a young city-based working professional said, "our entire family was excited about this day. And, I have come with some of my friends and family members here."
"The idea is not about this man or that man. The idea is that everyone becomes an Arvind Kejriwal and fights for his rights and for other people," she said.
Ranjeeta Gurani, a resident of Chhatarpur in south Delhi, had come to the venue along with her husband and four-year-old daughter, all three sporting the trademark white AAP caps.

"I think I and my husband both will remember this day. And, it was Valentine's Day too, so I guess it could not have been any more special. We truly feel blessed that we have a clean government, our works have yielded results," she said.
Kejriwal, who assumed the oath of office at the historic venue today said, "he wanted to make Delhi a city, on which every the poor and the rich both will take pride."

Meenakshi Tomar, who came with her husband Rahul Tomar from Mayur Vihar, both an avowed Kejriwal supporter, said, "this is everyman's victory, and not just of Kejriwal."

"Even during his 49-day rule earlier, he had brought down corruption and he would do it again. People should not judge him so soon. Let us give him five years and then judge him," he said.
Usha Devi and Urmila Devi, who came from Nand Nagari, said, "AAP will fulfill the promises, it has made."
60-year-old Rama, who came from Mangolpuri in outer Delhi, all by herself, said, "I don't need anyone to bring me to Kejriwal. I had voted for 'jhadu' (AAP party) and so I wanted to come to show my support."
Chandra Kanta, a party worker from Laxmi Nagar, said, "For us women corruption, crime against women and bribery are primary concerns. And, we are hopeful of this government tackling those problems, as mentioned in Kejriwal's speech today.
