"People of the state have been made pawns in the hands of UDF and LDF in the political game of elections. Kerala has been pushed to backwardness in all spheres in the past 60 years of alternative rules of the fronts," he said.
Speaking after inaugurating the election convention of Manjeswaram BJP candidate, K Surendran at Vorkali near here, he said people of the state should think about their status during the present Congress-led UDF rule.
He also said after the Modi Government came to power at the Centre, the perception of world nations about India has changed.
They have started looking at our country with great respect, the Minister added.
