Khan Chowdhury has assets of 1.16 crore

Union minister and Congress candidate from Malda South Lok Sabha seat, Abu Hasem Khan Choudhury's assets has increased to Rs 1.16 crore from Rs 9.62 lakh in 2009.
Khan Chowdhury, the Union Minister of state for Health and Family Welfare has an annual income of Rs 7.97 lakh and Rs one lakh in hand, according to his affidavit filed during submission of nomination papers.
He has four cars -- a Maruti, an Ambassador, a Scorpio and a Mahindra Thar.
Chowdhury's immovable assets include two flats in Kolkata and one bigha land at Kotwali valued at Rs 85 lakh.
He possesses Rs 38.2 lakh in gold while the figure for his wife is Rs 58,000.
