61-year-old Khattar was admitted to the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) last night for the operation.
"The surgery was performed in the morning today. The procedure was successful and the Chief Minister is doing fine," Khattar's OSD Vijay Sharma said.
The Chief Minister is likely to be discharged soon.
