The preliminary investigation suggested that the incident took place when the steering of the bus of Madhav Bal Senior Secondary school failed to work, resulting in the mishap, police said.

The 12th standard students were on Geography survey tour from the school at the time of the incident, police added.
No student in the incident has received critical or severe injury, he said.
The students were called to school today despite its being the holiday as they were scheduled to go on geography survey tour to nearby Aanasar area, the SHO also added.
