Numerous people expressed their anger on social media after she shared the photo taken while she was enjoying her time in Dubai, where Muslim women traditionally wear the garment, reported Ace Showbiz.
"Habibi Love," the 30-year-old "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star captioned the controversial picture showing her covering her head and showing only her eyes.
The word "Habibi" means "my darling" in Arabic.
It's worth noting that foreigners who visit the country are not required to wear a niqab, so Khloe's decision to don one was deemed offensive and disrespectful by fans.
Another agreed, "Women getting killed and beaten up for wearing the niqab, but you keep pretending it's a fashion accessory, the disrespect."
This isn't Khloe's first time to have been blasted for something she wears.
Last year, she also infuriated people when she posted an Instagram photo of Scott Disick and a friend dressed in traditional Arabian clothing for Halloween.
