Cyber expert Prashant Pandey today alleged that an unidentified truck had tried to mow down his family late last night.
Police is probing the allegation.
In a complaint to the Rajendra Nagar Police Station, Pandey alleged that the unidentified high-speed truck allegedly hit his car in which his four-year-old son, his wife, his father and 106-year-old grandmother were travelling.
Due to the impact of the collision, the car overturned and his family members suffered minor injuries.
Pandey alleged that the truck tried to kill his family and urged police to probe the matter seriously.
After filing complaint at the Rajendra Nagar Police Station, Pandey told reporters that he was travelling in another car which was following the four-wheeler in which his family was travelling and he was thankful to the god that they escaped with minor injuries.
He said that his grandmother is not feeling well after the mishap and it appears that they will have to admit her.
Meanwhile, City Superintendent of Police (CSP) R S Ghuriaya said that police is probing the complaint, especially, how far the charges leveled by Pandey are correct.
